Zone 8 Team BC Summer Games

All Athletes wanting to compete in the 2020 BC Summer Games in Maple Ridge must register for this program to indicate their interest in joining the team.

Eligibility and team requirements will be discussed with all registrants prior to team selection.

Prince George athletes wanting to compete in the 2020 BC Summer Games in Maple Ridge must register for the Competitive Team A 6 Week Program June 2020.

Zone 8 Athletes in other communities must discuss their training Program with the club.

The Fee for the BC Summer Games is determined by the BC Summer Games program.

The fees are collected by the PGCKC and transferred to our Sport Authority

Each Athlete's Fee Includes
- Transportation to & from BC Summer Games (Zone 8 designated pickup/drop off locations)
- Accommodations during BC Summer Games (generally a school set up with mats)
- Food / Beverages during BC Summer Games (set meal times and some extra snacks)
- Activities & Events during BC Summer Games (set times & set transportation options)
- Team Sport T-Shirt / Bib

Additional, Optional Costs
- Clothing and other Souvenirs
- Additional Food outside of what is supplied during meal times

For Parent Consideration
Officiants are almost always needed at the BC Summer Games. Officiant Training usually occurs on the first day of the BC Summer Games. Officiants usually have their travel / accommodations / food covered by the BC Summer Games Program - using the same delivery methods as for the athletes (ie no 5 star resorts)
